The basic definition of a business partner role is a business transaction. The attributes of the BP role depend on the particular transaction involved. The data that is available for a transaction also depends on the business partner category.
You can use the business partner role to carry out a business classification of a business partner.
Path to Create BP Role
IMG => Cross-Application Component => SAP Business Partner => Business Partner => Basic Settings => Business Partner Roles => Define BP Roles
STEP 1 : On the Display IMG screen, Define BP Role.
STEP 2 : Click on new entries.
STEP 3 : Fill in fields like BP Role, Title, Description, BP Role Category, and BP View. Click on save.
STEP 4 - In list we can see the BP role that we have created just now.
