Diagnosis

The material master data has not yet been maintained in plant VIPU from the accounting viewpoint. However, it is necessary for the master record to have been maintained by this view in order for the transaction to be posted.

Procedure

Maintain the accounting data for the material if you are authorized to do so.

Choose the options "Logistics" -> "Materials management" -> "Material master record" from the main menu.

SOLUTION:

STEP 1: Go to Transaction Code MM01 > Provide your material to extend accounting view >>

STEP 2: Enter your Plant

STEP 3: Enter Valuation Class and SAVE.
