Diagnosis

The availability control ledger 9H cannot be activated for FM area KP27 from fiscal year 2026 on, due to missing or invalid ledger attributes.

Procedure

Maintain valid attributes for ledger 9H and FM area KP27 in the IMG activity Assign Tolerance Profiles and Derivation Strategy for Control Objects. SOLUTION: STEP 1: Follow below path > Provide FM Area

STEP 2: Click on New Entries and fill details as show below > Save.

You want to use budget type MAIN in combination with process Enter for budget values.

However, this combination is not permissible.

The budget structure settings do not allow posting to the FM account assignment  -/FM07-CC08/71000000/-. The check of the budget structure ended for the combination of posting ledger and fiscal year 9A/2026 with the return code 5.

The system recognizes the following return codes for the check of posting addresses:

• Return code 1:

  The option of Check Posting Address is Only Check Posting Address List or Check Both Addresses (Posting and Derived Budget Addresses). However, FM account assignment -/FM07-CC08/71000000/- is missing in the budget structure. Insert this account assignment in the budget structure for the combination of posting ledger and fiscal year 9A/2026.

• Return code 2:

SOLUTION: Go to FBZP > Bank Determination > Bank Accounts and maintain below combination
