Diagnosis

For the calculation of variances with 000001000010 , the target costs in target cost version 0 are missing for the following reasons:

There were no planned costs and/or planned quantities (see earlier message).

The quantities on which the planned costs were based are zero in the time period concerned. This may be caused by the fact that no goods receipt for a cost object (such as a product cost collector or production order) has been entered.

This results in target costs of zero.

System Response

Because no target costs were calculated, the difference between the

planned and actual costs could not be broken down into variance categories. The difference is updated as a remaining variance. SOLUTION: STEP 1: Go to T Code OKKN and go to your costing variant

STEP 2: Go to Assignments Tab and click on create icon of Cost Component Split in Controlling Area Currency.

STEP 3: Click on New Entries and maintain your company code

STEP 4: Go to CKR1 to delete the current standard cost estimate. (Ensure you remove Test Run)

STEP 5: Go to CK11N and again create the Standard Material Cost Estimate for same period.

STEP 6: Mark Price of Material with CK24 make sure you remove test before actual execution.

STEP 7: Go to Release

Make sure you remove test before actual execution.

Now, Material planned price is Updated.
