No document number found for entry view for document type KR/ledger AD Message No. FAGL_POST_SERVICE002
Diagnosis
No number range is assigned to document type KR and ledger AD; consequently, the system could not determine a document number for the entry view.
System Response
The posting is terminated.
Procedure
Check your Customizing settings for the document type. To do this, go into Customizing for Financial Accounting and choose: Financial Accounting -> Financial Accounting Basic Settings -> Document -> Document Types -> Define Document Types for Entry View in One Ledger.
SOLUTION:
STEP 1: Follow the below path to configure Document type
STEP 2: Go to T - Code FBN1 and click on Add " + " then Provide number range 99/any two digit alpha-numeric code and Number range interval > SAVE.
STEP 3: Click on New Entries and Provide the Document Type KR, Number Range then SAVE.
