Missing connection of material 10 in plant ADD1 to the material ledger Message No. C+470
Diagnosis
When creating or changed the material valuation view you encountered an error. The material was not connected to the material ledger.
System Response
Updating the transaction is terminated.

Get in contact with SAP Support

The cause for this error, Material was created without activating the ML for Material Type
SOLUTION:
NOTE:
The solution is to Activate the Material Ledger and then create New Material
Ensure, the below steps are configured in :
Transaction Code OMX3 Assignment of Material Ledger Type to Valuation Area
Transaction Code OMX1 Activation of Material Ledger
Transaction Code OMS2 Quantity/ Value Updating
Transaction Code CKMSTART Program
STEP 1: Go to Transaction Code OMX3 Assignment of Material Ledger Type to Valuation Area and against your Valuation Area > Provide ML Type (Standard 9000)
STEP 2: Transaction Code OMX1 Activation of Material Ledger > Position your Valuation Area and Tick on check box ML Activate, Provide Price determination "2" Transaction Based.
STEP 3: Go to Transaction code OMS2 > Select the Material Type for your Material and then select Quantity/Value updating
STEP 4: Select your Valuation Area (Plant) and Tick on both Qty and Value updating
STEP 5: Go to Transaction Code CKMSTART Program > Provide your plant and Execute.
