Q1. If Credit Management is managed separately for each company code what would be the design – CCA, CS, and Multiple company codes (Different Countries)?
Q2. If Credit Management & Limit is managed at Group level what would be the design – CCA, CS and Multiple company codes (Different Countries)?
Q3. The credit management organization structure starts with Credit segment – Credit control area – Company code – Sales area. So what is the best practice considering the fact we might add more company codes in future. So should we have 1 CCA mapped with 1 company code because in OB38 we can assign multiple company codes to 1 CCA but when it comes up to the Credit Segment we can assign 1 CCA to 1 credit segment because credit segment comes above credit control area so what design approach we should consider here?
Q4. If the system is doing automatic credit check with the combination of credit control area + Risk category + Document Credit Group and checks are performed at credit control area level then why do we need credit segment in S/4 HANA FSCM credit management. Also, we know that multiple credit control areas can be assigned to a single credit segment and all the CCA can use the same credit limit. Please suggest?
Q5. In BP master data we have a risk class field and in configuration we have risk category (OVA8) how the system will identify and integrate these two fields. Please suggest?
Q6. There is configuration step - 'Assign sales document and delivery' in that we have a field 'sale order credit group' also we have above configuration step - OVA8 where there is a field 'document credit group' if both the functionality is same why there is a difference in naming convention or any significance is there. Please suggest?
Q7. Is it possible to have the same BP# assigned with multiple credit segments and have different credit limits? In such a case what would be our CCA design how the system will perform credit check when we perform sales order?
Q8. We can maintain BP relationships (with relationship category) but if we have more than one credit segment in the system design should our Group BP and Subsidiary BP belong to the same or different credit segment to perform a credit check?
Q9. There is a BP# under which 3 associates (A,B and C). Associate - A required a material so what will be the option in SAP best practice:
· Should Associate - A must be a BP to create a sale order?
A.How will the system perform credit checks and at which level? Is it at BP level or at associate level - (A) if associate here is not a BP
· Is BP essential to perform the credit check in FSCM credit Management?
· If associate - A failed to pay the due amount in stipulated period what will be the credit impact to the parent BP. When the associate is not a BP and secondly child/ associate is an independent BP (But associated with the parent BP)
