Hi Vikram,
In my client we have 4 credit segment which means 4 LE and let's say we have 1 CCA. Now we have created a BP in LE -1002 and assign to credit segment - X and maintain the credit limit.
Now, is it possible we can use the same BP# to different credit segment - Y which is for LE - 1003 and maintain credit limit over there and create a sale order? Is it a valid scenario please suggest.
Second Scenario –
1. This is a technical requirement from SAP. We need to assign company codes to Credit Control Area and Credit Control Area to Credit Segment
In such case which design I should propose to our client - Let’s say we have 4 credit segment followed with 1 credit control Area followed with 4 company codes (Because credit segment = company code) or 4 credit segment to 4 credit control Area followed with 4 company code. Please suggest which design we need to consider as a best practice and what is the reason behind also considering the point in future if we can add any new company codes we will have that provision
2. Secondly, can we do relationship between two BP's (Parent and Child) using two different credit segment?
The requirement is to maintain relationship between two BP's we have to create i.e. 1 Group and 1 Organization(Subsidiary) BP? Now which BP role we will use here to mapped the relationship between these two BP can we also mapped more than 1 Org BP under 1 Group BP?
Also, now as we have 4 credit segment i.e. AGS, ADG, ACS and ADS in our client and as we have 1 CCA under which segment we create Group BP (Parent)? And if we create 2 Org. BP (Child) in ACS and ADS credit segment how system will perform credit check in this scenario when we create SO?
Third Scenario –
In the continuation to my above question I have another business scenario could you please throw some light in it.
We have another business scenario but could you please help us to provide the way forward to it
There is a BP under which 3 associates (A,B and C) are there. Associate - A required a material so what will be the option in SAP best practice:
1. Should Associate - A must be a BP to create a sale order?
a. How system will perform credit check also at which level? Is it at BP level or at associate level - (A) and the associate here is not a BP
2. Is BP is essential to perform the credit check in FSCM credit Management?
3. If associate - A failed to pay the due amount in stipulated period what will be the credit impact to the parent BP. When the associate is not a BP and secondly child/ associate is an independent BP (But associated with the parent BP)
Hi,
In order to understand your scenario, trainer would like to discuss with you over phone. You can call trainer during the provided slot for QA. i.e every Wednesdays between 8 PM to 10 PM IST.

Hi Vikram Sir,
I'm really facing difficulty to understand the point 1 (Design of Main Credit Segment + Individually Credit Segment + Credit Control Area + Company Code. As it's start with how your client want the design - creating company code based on geographical location or based on product line? Secondly we know that in SPRO path we can assign multiple Co. Code to same CCA but where in we can not assign same CCA to multiple Individual credit segment as system will show an error an entry is already exist with the same key. So considering this could you please elaborate more on the point 1: how system will manage credit limit and perform credit check with 1 Individual CS + 1 Individual CCA + 1 Co Code combination and also 1 Individual CS + 1 CCA + Multiple company codes combination because when you mentioned at individual level and Group level where we can find this.

Hi,
If Credit Management is managed separately for each company code, then go for 4 credit segment to 4 credit control Area followed with 4 company code. If Credit Management & Limit is managed at Group level then 1 credit segment to 1 credit control Area followed with 4 company code
For BP relationships, BP role is only UKM000 for all Credit Management related settings, please watch video, we have covered various scenarios in course
Again related to BP relationships, difficult to answer theoretically, in our videos various scenarios are covered in detail.
